Kristin Cavallari, our favorite reality TV star, got super real on her podcast, Let’s Be Honest, about her breakup with Mark Estes. And guess what? The age gap was a *big* deal. Kristin, who’s 37, had been dating this guy who’s just 24 – basically, a zygote in the dating world. Despite both previously declaring their each other’s “best sex ever,” their physical relationship wasn’t enough to keep things together. They lasted only seven months before Kristin broke it off.
Kristin got quite emotional and made it clear that there was no bad blood.
It’s hard because I broke up with Mark because I just know long-term it’s not right, and it’s not because of love lost or something bad happened.
She even went on to say that he was “the best boyfriend” she’s ever had. However, they were at different stages in life due to their age difference, and Kristin knew that at just 24 he it was a crucial point in his life.
…those are formative years, they’re when you find yourself and he needs to be able to do that.
Kristin says breaking up with him was the best thing she could do for him and then one day in the future he’ll thank her for it.
