7UP has confirmed that they are going to be releasing a Shirley Temple flavor for a limited time. The flavor will be available in 12-oz cans and 2-liter bottles from October 15th until December 31st. Zero Sugar Shirley Temple will also be available, but only in cans.
7UP said in a statement to USA Today,
Our favorite nostalgic mocktail will be launching in a convenient ready to drink version, just in time for the holidays.
A spokesperson said that the limited-edition flavor will have a “vibrant” taste of pomegranate and cherries.
The drink, which consists of a lemon-lime soda with grenadine and maraschino cherries is a childhood favorite, but adults have added a boozy twist to the drink by spiking it with vodka.
It hasn’t even hit shelves yet but Target already has it on their website (not available for purchase yet) but at least that’s one place where you know you’ll be able to find it.
Even though Shirley Temple will only be available for a limited time, 7UP encourages us to “be uptimistic.”
