In January, Tom Cruise and Miles Teller first began circulating interest in a third Top Gun movie. Now leading man Glen Powell seems to have confirmed the film on a podcast.
Powell said on the Happy Sad Confused podcast host Josh Horowitz, “I mean, I have a date,” seemingly confirming that a start date has been set for him to begin work on Top Gun 3.
Powell played Jake “Hangman” Seresin in 2022’s Top Gun: Maverick. When asked if there was any more news that Powell would like to share about the third movie, the Anyone But You actor was quick to declare “absolutely not” while shaking his head.
